Sinus pain and pressure can be really annoying and it can make you feel weak. It can be really stressful as it not only causes pain close to your sinus area but it can also feel like there is pressure around your whole head region.
What causes Sinus pain?
When you are suffering from cold or flu, the blood vessels lining your nose and sinuses end up getting inflated. This would make you feel like there is additional pressure on your sinuses resulting in pain.
What are the symptoms of sinus pain?
Sinus pain and pressure is related to pain in the cheekbones, bridge of the nose or forehead. The pain amplifies with sudden head movement or straining. The pain is generally coupled with other sinus symptoms, such as nasal discharge, feeling of fullness in the ears, facial swelling and fever.
How to ease the symptoms?
Make sure you treat your body well and get better by:
- Taking plenty of rest and staying warm
- Consuming lot of fluids and non-alcoholic fluids.
- Eating, health meals regularly.
